Delete your account
You can delete your Maana account at any time, from the app or by email.
In the app
- Open Maana.
- On the home screen, open the account menu (top right).
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
What is deleted
- Your account, including your sign-in details (Apple, Google or email).
- Any free Premium grants.
- Word reports and sponsorships you made are unlinked from you, so they no longer identify you.
Your learning progress is stored only on your phone. Deleting the app removes it.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Settings › your name (Apple ID) › Subscriptions on your iPhone, or on the App Store.
If you no longer have the app
Email support@getmaana.com with the subject “Delete my Maana account”. Send it from the email address you signed in with, and say whether you used Apple, Google or email to sign in. If you used Sign in with Apple with a hidden email, tell us so and we’ll help you find the account.
We’ll confirm by email, usually within a few days, once your account has been deleted.
If you only ever used Maana as a guest, your account has no name or email attached, so we can’t find it from an email. To remove a guest account, use Delete account in the app before you delete the app. See the Privacy Policy for details.
